Effective date: 09/08/2026

These Terms & Conditions apply to all appointments and beauty services provided by Essential Beauty Treatments (“we”, “us”, “our”) to clients (“you”, “your”).

2. Appointments & Deposits

A 30% deposit of the total treatment price is required to secure your appointment.

Your appointment is not considered fully confirmed until the required deposit has been received.

The deposit will be deducted from the final treatment price.

Deposits are generally non-refundable where an appointment is cancelled or missed outside the cancellation terms below.

3. Cancellation & Rescheduling

We understand that circumstances can change.

You may cancel or reschedule your appointment at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment time without losing your deposit.

If you cancel with less than 24 hours' notice, your deposit may be retained.

If you fail to attend your appointment without notifying us (“no-show”), your deposit will be retained.

Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may require a larger deposit or full payment before future appointments can be accepted.

Where possible, please contact us as soon as you know that you cannot attend.

4. Late Arrivals

Please arrive on time for your appointment.

If you arrive late, we may need to shorten your treatment time to avoid affecting other clients. The full treatment price may still apply.

If your lateness means that the treatment can no longer be safely or appropriately completed, the appointment may be treated as a late cancellation and your deposit may be retained.

5. Consultation & Treatment Suitability

For certain treatments, you may be required to complete a consultation and/or patch test before treatment.

You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information about relevant circumstances that may affect treatment suitability, including skincare products, medications, allergies, sensitivities, previous treatments and any other relevant information requested during consultation.

We reserve the right to refuse, postpone or modify a treatment if we believe it may not be suitable or safe to proceed.

For laser treatments, including Laser Hair Removal, Laser Tattoo Removal and Carbon Laser Facial treatments, a consultation and patch test may be required in accordance with the treatment protocol.

6. Medical & Personal Information

You must inform us before treatment of any relevant condition, medication, allergy, skin sensitivity, recent procedure or other circumstance that could affect your treatment.

If your circumstances change between appointments, you must inform us before your next treatment.

We cannot accept responsibility for complications resulting from information that was not disclosed to us or from failure to follow pre- or post-treatment instructions.

7. Treatment Results

Individual results vary depending on factors such as skin type, hair type, pigmentation, tattoo ink, lifestyle, aftercare and individual response to treatment.

For this reason, results cannot be guaranteed.

Where a course of treatments is recommended, completion of the recommended course does not guarantee a particular outcome.

8. Aftercare

You are responsible for following all aftercare instructions provided following your treatment.

Failure to follow aftercare advice may increase the risk of irritation, pigmentation changes, sensitivity or other unwanted reactions and may affect your results.

If you experience an unexpected or concerning reaction following treatment, please contact us as soon as possible and seek appropriate medical advice where necessary.

9. Photos & Videos

We may ask for your permission to take photographs or videos before, during or after treatment for treatment records, progress monitoring or marketing purposes.

No photographs or videos will be used for marketing or social media without your appropriate consent.

You may withdraw your consent for future marketing use at any time.

10. Payments

The remaining balance must be paid at the time of treatment unless another arrangement has been agreed in advance.

We reserve the right to update our treatment prices. Any price change will not affect an appointment that has already been confirmed at an agreed price, unless otherwise communicated.

11. Personal Belongings

Clients are responsible for their personal belongings while attending an appointment.

Essential Beauty Treatments cannot accept responsibility for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings brought onto the premises, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

12. Right to Refuse Treatment

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue a treatment where:

  • The treatment is considered unsuitable or unsafe;

  • Required consultation or patch testing has not been completed;

  • Relevant information has not been disclosed;

  • A client behaves aggressively, abusively or inappropriately;

  • A client is under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs;

  • Continuing the treatment could pose a risk to the client, practitioner or others.

13. Children & Young Clients

Some treatments may have age restrictions or may require parental/guardian consent.

Please contact us before booking if the client is under 18 so that we can confirm whether the requested treatment can be provided and what consent may be required.

14. Complaints

We aim to provide a high standard of service and client care.

If you have a concern regarding your treatment or experience, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible so that we can discuss the matter and attempt to resolve it.

15. Liability

We will provide treatments with reasonable care and skill.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under UK law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or any other statutory rights that apply to consumers.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes to our services, business practices or legal requirements.

The latest version will be made available on our website.

17. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the applicable courts of England and Wales, unless applicable consumer law provides otherwise.
